Dave Hargreaves recorded 1:15:42 (including 5:09 late start penalty after a missed turn on the way to the start) in the Leo 30 mile Time Trial on Saturday September 21st on the E2/30C Fulbourne-Red Lodge course on the A11 and A14 roads in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Matt Smith of DRAG2ZERO won with 56:30 and Jackie Field of CC Ashwell was fastest woman in 1:07:28 in hot but windy conditions.

Paul Taylor and Emma Houterman with 22:49 were the fastest team with a female (unfortunately no prize for that) in the Liverpool Braveheart 10 mile 2-up Team Time Trial on Saturday September 14th on the D10/1 Rainford by-pass course. Ian and Robbie Lawton of Mersey Tri won with 20:45.

It was warm and dry with a light northerly wind for the Burton and District CA 100 mile time trial on Saturday September 7th on the A100/4 (Revised 2019) 4-lap Hilton-Uttoxeter course in Staffordshire/Derbyshire. Dave Hargreaves recorded 3:58:46 for first V65+, setting a new VTTA national age 73 record. Aidan Holgate is the NLRC 12 hour Champion, setting a new personal best distance of 258.09 miles in the West Cheshire TTCA and Liverpool TTCA 12 hour Time Triail on Sunday August 18th on the D12/1 course in Shropshire. 17/08/19 Wigan Wheelers ’10’ (slowest 100)
Sue Cheetham was the only NLRC rider of six to start, recording 25:43 in the Wigan Wheelers 10 mile Time Trial on Saturday August 17th on the L1015 Levens course. Shaun Inglis of Hawick CC won in 20:00 and Crystal Lane of Glossop Kinder Velo CC was fastest woman in 21:54.
14/08/19 Club Hill Climb Championship
Afer a rainy afternoon it kept fine for the 2019 NLRC Hill Climb Championship on Wednesday August 14th on the Close Brow course on the road up towards the New Inns from Rishton. Only two riders turned up and Aidan Holgate was duly declared the winner.

Dave Hargreaves was fastest in the Veteran Target Time category with 1:06:09 (+16:01) in the 26.3 mile Dumfries CC Time Trial on Sunday May 12th on the WS25/01 Castle Douglas-New Galloway-Mossdale Circuit of Loch Ken course in Dumfries and Galloway. This was Dave’s fourth win in the series this year resulting in Dave winning the Veteran Target Time category of the 2019 series overall (best 4 points scores out of 6 events), Douglas Watson of GTR – Return to Life was fastest veteran with 54:52, Kyle Gordon, of RT23 was fastest overall with 54:48 and Katie Archibald, Team HUUB was fastest woman with 1:02:44.
