11/09/16  Port Talbot Wheelers ’25’ New Club Record

Steve Irwin was 3rd in 47:01 to set a new Club Record and personal best time in the Port Talbot Wheelers 25 mile Time Trial on Sunday September 11th on the R25/3H Rhygos-Aberdulais course on the A465 in the Vale of Neath in South Wales. Marcin Bialoblocki of One Pro Cycling Ltd was fastest in a new Competition Record time of 44:04.

11/09/16  RTTC combined Circuit Championship and Classic series Round 6 ‘25.6’

Dave Hargreaves was Fastest Veteran on Target Time with 1:01:35 (+16:16) on a warm, sunny day in Round 6 of the RTTC Classic series on Sunday September 11th on the 25.6 mile 2-lap K33/CC course on mainly country roads between Alcester and Evesham in Warwickshire. His time also gave Dave 1st G category (age 70-74) in the RTTC Circuit Championship. The win, combined with 3 previous fastest Veteran on target time awards in the series gave Dave the overall 1st place in that classification. Ryan Perry of Langdale Lightweights RT was fastest with 51:29 and David Crawley of Velotik RT was fastest veteran in 52:37.
