Welcome to North Lancashire Road Club
North Lancashire Road Club serves the Blackburn, Hyndburn, Pendle and Ribble Valley areas. We welcome riders of all ages, men, ladies and juniors, to join us either to race or just to ride. Members can take part in various weekly Club Rides which start in Whalley. For those who wish to take part, we run Evening Tens time trials from May to August around Bashall Eaves near Clitheroe as well as various Club Open Events including Time Trials and Hill Climbs.

PENDLE HILL CLIMB
Circuit of the Dales – 7 April 2024
From 2023 we have taken on the prestigious ‘Circuit of the Dales’. This replaced our 30 mile Hilly Spoco. A link will be added when online entry is open.
Easter Open 10 – 30 March 2024
Always the best way for a rider to start off their Easter Saturday. Out and back course along the A6 on the L101 circuit. A link will be added when online entry is open.
Pendle Hill Climb – Sunday 22 October
Our infamous climb up the Witches Hill from Sabden to the Nick ’o’ Pendle. Click here to enter via the CTT website, if online entry has closed click here to email Pete Briscoe.

JOIN NLRC
Racing is at the heart of our Club and we are very proud of our Club’s long history since formation in 1950. As well as racing against other riders at Club Events, our members compete against each other for the coveted Club Awards.
We’re a social bunch too with many non-racing riders. Most rides take in a cafe stop along the way where we can refuel and chat about all things cycling and non cycling too. We have various social events throughout the year, and at least one Christmas lunch which you’re welcome to attend if you wish.
